Backups are only good if you have them around when you need them. This is why WP Database Backup allows you to download all your backups. Save them somewhere safe on your PC, external drive, google drive, or even Dropbox, it’s up to you.
Sometimes accident can happen when we least expert it. If you can have made a careless mistake and your site is gone how can you restore your site? if the site is erased or your server (local or live) hard disk corrupted or hacked then you lose everything.
We recommend doing this for every backup and saving it somewhere safe like Dropbox or google drive.
This page show all the destinations available for the plugin. A destination is a remote system like Dropbox,Google drive, Amazon S3 or FTP. Simply enter or configure the destination information. When the WP Database Backup runs the archive database backup file will be sent to the destination and also stored locally. Leave these blank for local backups.
